Rosemarie Gregg is a STOTT PILATES® Certified Instructor Level 1 and 2 in Mat, Reformer, V2MAX Cadillac Tower, Stability Chair, and Total Barre™. To obtain this Certification, Rosemarie completed over 360 hours of STOTT PILATES® training, 40 hours of Anatomy, 60 hours of Apprenticeship teaching, and had to pass a very extensive 4 hour exam. Over the past eight years, Rosemarie has invested over 700 hours in STOTT PILATES training courses, has taught Mat Pilates, Reformer, Cadillac Tower, and Total Barre™ to over 1,000 clients and is continuing to grow the business.
In September 2014, Rosemarie opened East Lansing’s only full service Pilates Studio – PILATES SILVER SENSATIONS STUDIO – a STOTT PILATES® instructional studio and was there for 5 years. The business outgrew the space and as of January 2019, relocated the Studio to 409 N. Cedar St. in Mason, doubling the Studio space to a 3,600 sq. ft. state-of-the-art Studio offering Classes, Privates and Duets in Mat, Reformer, V2MAX Cadillac Tower, and Total Barre™.
Customized Programs are also available which structures the sessions to fit the client's individual needs. Many clients have pain and come to the Studio for such a program. Rosemarie evaluates each client's needs and based upon the findings, creates a specialized program to help the client overcome whatever challenge they may be facing - be it knee pain, back pain, a recent knee replacement or hip replacement, arthritis, osteoporosis, auto immune diseases, etc. Pilates is the best form of exercise you can do to relieve the pain and improve your quality of life through movement.
Rosemarie extended her Certification and passed the Advanced Mat and Reformer Exam - giving her a Level 2 Certification - the highest level of STOTT PILATES® Certification that can be obtained. She recently completed the Cadillac Tower Training and has added two Towers to her Reformers, offering a more varied Reformer workout.
Rosemarie has also trained at STOTT PILATES® Headquarters in Toronto, Ontario, and in New York taking courses certifying her to teach Total Barre™. She has continued to take various workshops to grow her knowledge of Pilates and how to teach to specific populations. She is also a classically trained dancer herself, with a background in ballet, pointe, modern jazz, baton twirling, and gymnastics. She has choreographed various routines for Dance Teams in the southeastern Michigan area.
Pilates is her true passion and she wants to share her teaching knowledge and expertise with anyone interested in making a change in their mind, body, and life style. Pilates is adaptable for everyone --- from the young to the old, the elite athletic, and for those that need rehabilitation. Pilate’s programs are tailored to meet each client’s specific needs and fitness goals.
